Ms. Sandy Fox serves as the Executive Secretary to the Board of Water Commissioners for the Long Beach Water Department, where she has been employed since 2005.
Ms. Fox began her career with the City of Long Beach in 1984 as a Clerk Typist IV/Office Manager. She was promoted to the position of Executive Secretary to the Deputy City Manager in 1990, where she also provided clerical support for the Citizen’s Police Complaint Commission.
In 1992 she accepted a position as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager for the State Legal Aid Support Center, Western Center on Law and Poverty in Los Angeles, California, where she also served as the Executive Secretary to their Board of Directors.
She rejoined the City in 1995 as the Bureau Secretary for the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency, where she also served as the clerical support for the Redevelopment Agency Board.
In 1999 she was selected by Long Beach Mayor Beverly O’Neill as her Executive Secretary where she served until accepting her position with the Long Beach Water Department.
