Speaker Request

Are you interested in having a speaker attend your association meeting, classroom or neighborhood organization to learn more about our water supply and ways to save water?

You may send an e-mail with your requirements.

We partner with a variety of grade levels in our Long Beach Unified schools to educate the next generation about sustainability.

 Solar Cup

Solar Cup is a Metropolitan Water District of Southern California high school education program. Teams of students throughout Southern California build and race solar-powered boats. The seven-month program culminates in a three-day competition at Lake Skinner, in Temecula Valley. Through the program, students learn about conservation of natural resources, electrical and mechanical engineering, problem solving and much more.

Long Beach Water is proud to support our local, high school teams. Please contact our Public Affairs division for questions relating to Solar Cup, or if you have a high school team that is interested in participating in Solar Cup.
