The Long Beach Board of Utilities Commissioners may provide sponsorships to promote community and civic activities in the Long Beach community. The sponsorship will have a water, water conservation or wastewater related purpose.
Requests shall be considered on a case-by-case basis; special consideration will be given to those activities that promote the following:
- Water education
- Sound water policy
- Water conservation
- The role of Long Beach Water in the community
Each sponsorship requires the prior approval of the Board. The sponsorship application should be completed and sent to the Executive Assistant to the Board three weeks prior to the next regularly scheduled Board meeting, typically held on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
